Timeout and Keep Alive Check Interval (Seconds)

This is the interval (in whole seconds) that the HostScreen Server will run the maintenance process to tidy up sessions. If any sessions are marked as timed out, or require a Telnet keep-alive to be sent, maintenance process will carry out the necessary task.

For example, if a session has been marked as timed out because it has exceeded the configured timeout, this maintenance process will drop that connection when it runs. If the timeout was 30 minutes, and this timeout was reached just after the last time the maintenance process ran, the disconnection would occur when this process runs. If the maintenance process runs once every 30 seconds, it could take up to 30 minutes plus the 30 seconds for the maintenance process to drop the connection.

These settings control how the Jubilant print server handles print jobs. Print jobs are turned into PDFs and sent to a connected Session Folder.

The font used when printing double byte characters. This font must be a local system installed font.

Additional Whitespace Single Byte (%)

An option that allows the addition of white space between single byte characters if desired.

Additional Whitespace Double Byte (%)

An option that allows the addition of white space between double byte characters if desired.

Ignore Empty Prints

An option to ignore any empty prints received instead of creating an empty PDF.

Often host systems send header pages as distinct print jobs that only contain escape sequences for setting up a physical printer. Having this option set to "on" means that the user will not receive blank PDF prints that are a only necessary for physical printers.
