Updating Jubilant

Fresh Install or Update / Upgrade

If this is a fresh new install, please go to Running the Installer.

Check Execution Policy

If you have issues with the execution policy, it may have reset since you carried out the install. Please visit Checking Execution Policy.

Run the Updater

To run the updater:

  • Open Windows PowerShell ISE as an Administrator.
  • Open the JubilantUpdate script from the installer folder.
  • Run the script.
  • The script will ask you to close any open web browser windows and then press return.
  • The script will update your install.

Error Deleting Files

If during the update the script generates an error saying that it has not been able to delete all the files in the Jubilant folder, please carry out the following steps:

  • Open file explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Flynet\Jubilant\ folder (or your previously chosen install folder) and delete all of its contents.
  • Run the JubilantUninstall.ps1 script. Confirm the script has executed without error. If it hasn't, please reboot and try this step again.
  • Run the JubilantInstaller.ps1 script (you will be prompted for file location and web site).
